Nearly 99,000 pieces of cultural material were recovered from the excavations at the Clampitt site. This assemblage is broken down by artifact class, type, year of recovery, and general provenience in Appendix D. A detailed discussion of material excavated from the site is beyond the scope of this report, however some preliminary observations on each of the major artifact classes will be offered. These comments will be followed by more in-depth examinations of some of the ceramic, lithic, floral, and faunal remains which provide useful information about the Oliver phase occupation at the site.
