EXPENSES OF THE POST AT DETROIT.

Statement of what Mons. Dubuisson expended for the service of the King to attract the tribes to him and attach them to his interests to support him against the Outagamis and Mascoutins who had been paid by the English to destroy the post of Fort Pontchartrain at Detroit.

To Wit.

4 barrels of powder of 50 livres each, to distribute to the savages
   for the defence of Fort Pontchartrain, and to attack the fort of
   the Outagamis and Mascoutins: the powder having been

 

 

 

   bought from voyageurs at 4 franc per livre makes the sum of
