Some Indians arrive at Albany from a French settlement called
Wanajachtenock,1 to Trade & say they would
willingly trade with us but the French hinder them & wish (P. 110) this
Govt would build a Fort near their Habitations & put Men into it to protect
them from the French who oppose their Trading hither. .
