Nous Lieutenant d Infanterie dans les Troupes du detachment de la marine cy devant Commandant pour le Roy, au fort des 8atonons certifions avoir fair les fournitures cy dessus pour le Compte de Sa Majest, a quebec le 12 Novbre 1743, Sign De St Vincent, et [illeg] Sign Beauharnois. Et plus bas est Ecrit, Les munitions cy dessus Evaluz a la Somme de Cent quarante Livres, a Quebec le 16. Novbre 1743. Sign hocquart.

December fifth, one thousand seven hundred and forty-two, the men named Sakarea, La Peau Blanche, and Le Vieux Sourd, war chief of the Wea village, gave me a Chickasaw for the General, to whom I had the honor of giving notice the twenty-first of December, 1742, who was saved on the twentieth of April, 1743, and was recaptured by the Piankashaw Indians of Vermilion who have guarded him; I gave to the chiefs for the King's account-

One cotton shirt

Five bushels of Indian corn for his nourishment
We, lieutenant of infantry in the troops of the detachment of the marine, formerly commandant for the King, at the Wea fort, certify to have furnished the supplies above for the account of his Majesty, at Quebec, November 12, 1743, signed De St Vincent, and [?] signed Beauharnois. And written below, the arms above valued in the amount of one hundred and forty pounds, at Quebec, November 16, 1743. Signed Hocquart.
