| Description |
Black and White photograph affixed to 4X6" card stock. Large flint spade in situ in a house wall trench. Upon occasion perfect specimens are found in the village excavations which no doubt had been lost. This is such an example. It is inconcievable that a perfect tool such as this would have been deliberately thrown away. It might have been deliberately placed here for some reason, but it is doubtful.
